Building Your Digital Literacy Skills

Digital Literacy is the ability to:

• Use computers, smartphones, and other digital devices

• Find information online

• Judge if information is reliable and useful

• Create your own content (like text, images, or videos)

• Share information with others

To do well in your classes at Highline College, you'll need to use different types of technology. We know that some students might need help learning how to use these tools. That's why we offer online guides and tutorials, as well as in-person Tech Tutors

Whether you're just starting out or want to get better at using technology, you can ask for help anytime. These resources are here to teach you new skills or improve the ones you already have.

Look for the navigation menu in the top right corner of the page. This menu has three main sections:

Tech Tutoring
